Martina Puyo logró el tercer lugar en Copa Nacional

El 21 de enero, en el Parque Metropolitano de Quito, Martina Puyo Olmedo, estudiante de Inicial 1, representó al Club de ciclismo Adrenalina sobre ruedas en la COPA ESCOLAR COLEGIAL UNIVERSITARIA 2018 DE CROSS COUNTRY – 1ra. VALIDA “ASHINTACO XCO TRAIL”.

 

Martina participó en la categoría walk bike 3 años, en la cual compitieron 8 niñas.  Martina logró el tercer lugar en la competencia.

 

La copa se desarrolla en dos válidas. Se corren en 4 circuitos, elaborados considerando el nivel de experiencia y edad: uno para los más pequeños, nursery y los prescolares, otro para los escolares y colegiales de hasta 1ro de bachillerato, y, el último, el más largo para 2do., 3ro. de bachillerato y universitarios OPEN. La pista es ASHINTACO XCO TRAIL ubicada en el parque metropolitano Guangüiltagua en el centro norte de Quito, pista muy completa que permite desarrollar todas las habilidades de los competidores.

 

Felicitamos a Martina por este logro. Estamos seguros que vendrán muchos más.

On January 21, in Quito’s Metropolitan Park, prekindergartener Martina Puyo Olmedo (Inicial 1) represented the Adrenaline on Wheels Cycling Club in the first qualifying rounds of the 2018 School and University Cross-Country Cup, held on the Ashintaco XCO Trail.

 

Martina participated in the walk bike category for three-year-olds, in which eight little girls were competing. Martina won third place in this competition.

 

The Cup has two qualifying rounds. Four circuits are run, and they are designed as a function of the competitors’ level of experience and age. One is for the youngest children (in nursery school and preschool, another is for primary-school and middle-school students, and the third and longest one is for high-school students (eleventh- and twelfth-graders) and college students. The Ashintaco XCO Trail, located in the Guangüiltagua Metropolitan Park  in the central-northern part of Quito, is a very comprehensive trail that showcases a wide variety of biking skills.
